Breaking: KL Rahul diagnosed with accute appendicitis

Punjab Kings skipper and the current leading run-scorer in IPL, KL Rahul is diagnosed with acute appendicitis and he needs to undergo surgery. The team management has confirmed the same on social media today. Rahul is already in a hospital and the surgery will be performed on him soon.

“Praying for KL Rahul’s health and speedy recovery,” read a tweet from the official handle of Punjab Kings.

“KL Rahul complained of severe abdomen pain last night and after not responding to medication, he was taken to the emergency room for further tests which revealed he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis. It will be resolved surgically and for safety measures has been transferred to the hospital for the same,” Punjab Kings mentioned on their social media profile in their official press note.

KL Rahul getting admitted in the hospital means that he is going to break the bio-bubble. After he recovers, he will have to quarantine himself and undergo COVID tests before joining back the team. It is sure that KL Rahul will miss his next game and the team might pick Chris Gayle as the team’s captain.

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli announced that the blue jerseys which RCB will wear against Kolkata Knight Riders in Abu Dhabi on September 20 will be auctioned and the money would be used for providing free COVID-19 vaccine amongst the lesser privileged communities in India.

Instead of their flagship ‘Go Green’ campaign jersey, RCB is going to support blue this year. Important healthcare messages will be engraved on the blue jerseys and the team is wearing blue jerseys to show their solidarity and support towards the front line workers during the difficult times due to dangerous COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, Virat Kohli’s RCB is at the 3rd spot with 5 wins from 7 matches, tied on 10 points with 2nd-placed Chennai Super Kings. Delhi Capitals are on top of the points table with 12 points from 8 matches.

It is all known knowledge that Indian Premier League that has been suspended midway in May due to an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in its biobubble is going to start in the UAE this weekend. Limited spectators are allowed into the stadiums for the IPL.

Ayesha Mukherjee, a Melbourne based boxer got married to Shikhar Dhawan in 2012. Shikhar Dhawan is 35 years old and Ayesha is 46 years old. Both of them were blessed with a son. Ayesha Mukherjee is from West Bengal but at the age of 8, she moved to Australia. Ayesha, born to an Indian father and mother of British descent. Before marrying Shikhar Dhawan, she married another Australia based businessman. From the first marriage, Ayesha has two children – Aliyah and Rhea.

She shared a post that reads, “I THOUGHT DIVORCE WAS A DIRTY WORD UNTIL I BECAME A 2 TIME DIVORCEE. Funny how words can have such powerful meanings and associations. I experienced this first hand as a divorcee. The first time I went through a divorce I was soooooooo fu@kn scared. I felt like I had failed and I was doing something so wrong at that time.”

She also wrote, “I felt as if I had let everyone down and even felt selfish. I felt that I was letting my parents down, I felt that I was letting my children down and even to some extent I felt as if I was letting God down. Divorce was such a dirty word. So now imagine, I have to go through it a second time. Woooahhhhhh. That is terrifying. Being divorced once before already, felt like I had more at stake the second time round. I had more to prove. So when my second marriage broke down it was really scary. All the feelings I felt when I went through it the first time came flooding in. Fear, failure and disappointment x 100. What does this mean for me? How does this define me and my relationship to marriage?”

Shikhar Dhawan is currently in the United Arab Emirates where he is going to play for the Delhi Capitals in the second half of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.
