Indian Government vs Twitter

For the past few weeks, there has been a tiff between the Indian government and the popular social media platform Twitter. While other social media platforms agreed to comply with the guidelines issued under the new Information act, Twitter responded invariably with the government.

In this context, the Twitter representatives appeared before the Parliamentary Standing Committee. Members of Parliament made several sensational remarks during the meeting on Friday. Members of the Parliamentary Standing Committee made it clear to Twitter representatives that the laws of the land are supreme and not institutional procedures.

On Friday, Twitter representatives appeared before a parliamentary-level committee to explain the steps being taken to prevent social media abuse. This meeting lasted about 90 minutes. The parliamentary standing committee, however, strongly objected when Twitter representatives said they would adhere to their organisation’s policies.

“We follow our own policies,” said one Twitter representative as an answer to the question of non-compliance from the parliamentary members. Members of the parliamentary-level committee were not satisfied, however, with Twitter members saying their policies were also in line with the country’s laws. Members of all parties expressed dissatisfaction over the answers given by the Twitter members.

Relevant sources said that they did not take the committee’s suggestions positively. It is learned that the Parliamentary Committee has brought to their notice the fact that the Center has warned that you will not have legal protection if you act like yourself. The committee issued a summons last week, expressing dissatisfaction with the way Twitter was still operating.

However, a Twitter spokesperson released a statement summarising the meet. They made it clear that they would work with a parliamentary committee in line with their principles of transparency and freedom of expression. He said the government’s ultimate goal was to provide a platform for people to express their views as well as privacy.

Twitter has largely ignored the main requirement that its compliance officers must be employed in India. It is learned that although they claimed to have hired them, their details were not disclosed properly. So, the news is that the representatives of Twitter have agreed to disclose all the details of the compliance officers to overlook certain obligations from the center.

Finally, Twitter has to come down as the government of India is very particular about obscenity and the misuse of social media platforms.

Prashant Kishor is Kingpin for UPA-3

Prashant KishorPolitical Strategist Prashant Kishor is going to be a kingpin in building UPA-3 for the 2024 elections. Whether he is going to join Congress or not, he will be the bridge for uniting opposition parties to form UPA-3 against NDA. PK is the person who has changed the image and attitude of many leaders. The recent success in West Bengal, where BJP tried to win very hard, has made him a license for victory.

He has worked for Narendra Modi, Nitish Kumar, YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Akhilesh Yadav, Amaraindar Singh, Kejriwal, Stalin and Mamata Benarjee. Now he has a target of defeating Narendra Modi, who has humiliated him in the Bihar Politics by playing a spoiling game with Nitish Kumar.

We can witness the change in Rahul Gandhi’s attitude, approach and even in the pace of his moves. This is all because of Prashanth Kishor only. Until yesterday, we cannot see Rahul Gandhi as a strong leader. But, now, the time has changed and the trend has also changed. Rahul Gandhi has raised the hopes in the anti-modi groups. This is all because of the direction of Prashanth Kishor.

He has roped Sharad Pawar, Mamata Benarjee, Kejriwal and others in one line. No egos are playing now between these leaders and PK is the one, who can hear everybody’s desires and grievances.

PK has suggested Congress target 138 Parliamentary Constituencies on it’s own and can get the support of all other opposition parties to form the Government. He has focused on listing out those138 constituencies and scripting strategy to win them. The people, who hate Modi and do not have hopes on alternatives, are now hopeful with the efforts of Prashant Kishor.

See How Train Passes Through Doodhsagar Waterfall

Due to severe rain, a train passing near the Doodhsagar waterfall in Goa was forced to stop. The train is seen coming to a halt in a video posted by the Railway Ministry when the waterfall begins spilling a considerable amount of water into the Mandovi river. The Doodhsagar falls becomes visible from the neighbouring rail line that connects Goa and Bengaluru during the monsoon season in western India.

The Doodhsagar falls, also known as the ‘Sea of Milk,’ are fed by rain during the monsoon, resulting in a massive surge of water. The area surrounding Doodhsagar Falls is densely forested and has a diverse ecosystem.

The Mandovi river, on its way from the Western Ghats to Panaji, Goa’s capital, forms the Doodhsagar waterfalls, which are located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and the Mollem National Park in the Western Ghats. The Mandovi river, which begins in Karnataka’s Belagavi region, enters the Arabian Sea near Panaji, completing its journey.

Doodhsagar falls is amongst India’s tallest waterfalls with a height of 310 metres and an average width of 30 metres.
